Dr. Mario Goes Mobile
Nintendo has announced that Dr. Mario will be making his way to Android and iOS devices on July 10. Dr. Mario World, Nintendo’s latest mobile offering, offers a new spin on the classic Dr. Mario puzzle game series.
Dr. Mario World’s gameplay will follow the previous games’ classic color-matching mechanics where players destroy viruses by matching pills of the same color; however, instead of falling down, the pills in Dr. Mario World will float up. The game will offer players different skills, items, and power-ups to help them complete stages. (Some of these will be available via in-app purchase.)
Another change to the game is that there will be other characters in the game. Additional characters, such as Peach, Yoshi, Bowser, and Toad will also be available to be unlocked and each will have their own special powers. For example, Yoshi will eliminate three random objects and Peach will be able to clear one random column.

Android and iOS users can pre-register for the free-to-play Dr. Mario World from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store now.
