First Look at New Hellboy
When it was announced that another Hellboy movie was being made, but that neither Guillermo del Toro nor Ron Perlman were involved, fans were understandably upset. Del Toro did fantastic work on the first two films, and seriously, is there anyone better suited to the role of Hellboy than Perlman? Most fans would say no.
That being said, when Lionsgate announced that they were rebooting the franchise with Stranger Things star, David Harbour in the lead and Neil Marshall taking over directing duties, there were a lot of questions. The biggest of which is what is this new version of “Big Red” going to look like? And taking it a step further, how is Harbour going to distinguish himself from Perlman’s interpretation of the character?
Well, we have to wait until the movie is released to get an answer to the second question; however, we have the answer to the first question thanks to an image sent out yesterday by the Hellboy Movie Twitter account.
