Google Unveils Massive Stadia Details
Google officially there upcoming Gaming Platform, Stadia, a few months ago. But at the time Google did not reveal when their gaming platform was being released or what it will cost players. Google has officially unveiled this during their first Stadia Connect where they unveiled not only upcoming gaming titles coming to the platform but also gives players an idea of its pricing and when it’ll be available.
Stadia will be available to use on Home PC’s, Laptops, Tablets, Chromecast Ultra, and Pixel 3 phones. The service will be available for more smartphones at a later date and Stadia will launch in 13 Countries, the U.S., Canada, UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Finland. More regions will be added in 2020, according to Google.
Google is launching in November 2019 exclusively via the Stadia Founders Edition bundle. The Bundle is currently available for Pre-Order via the Google Store for a limited time. Those who purchase The Founders Edition Bundle will receive a number of items that include:
- The Limited Edition Night Blue Controller (Pictured Below)
- A Chromecast Ultra (Retails for $69.99)
- Three-Month Subscription to Stadia Pro
- First Chance to claim Stadia Name
- One Three-Month Buddy Stadia Pro Subscription to give to a friend.
Stadia Pro is one part of Google Stadia and is a subscription service that will allow players the ability to stream games in Full 4K HDR, 60 Frames a second and full 5.1 Surround Stereo Sound. Along with it, “Older Game Titles” will be added to your game library (similar to PlayStation Plus and Xbox Games With Gold) and you’ll be able to get newer titles at a discounted price. If you’re not interested in paying for the subscription, players can wait for Stadia Base, which is set to launch next year. Stadia Base is free to all players, where you can just simply purchase the titles you want and they’ll be available in your game library to stream at any time. All Titles streamed through Stadia Base will be in 1080p Resolution at 60 Frames with 5.1 Stereo Surround Sound.
During the announcement, Google announced partnerships with over 20 developers and publishers who will be putting their games on the Stadia Platform. Below is a list of games and publishers who are releasing titles on Stadia in there launch window:

One of the notable game announcements made during the announcement is Destiny 2 which will be included with the Founders Edition Bundle and includes the base game and all expansions including the upcoming Shadowkeepers set to release later this year. Players of Destiny 2 can transfer there saves from consoles via the Cross-Save so there guardian and equipment can now be played on the go via Stadia.
