Here’s a Sneak Peek at Shazam!
Warner Bros. sure has come a long way from the very dark and serious films of Batman v. Superman and Suicide Squad. Their latest movie is Shazam! The premise of the film is that a wizard grants superpowers, along with the ability to transform into a superhero, to a troubled 14-year-old orphan when he utters the magic word: “SHAZAM!”
Early buzz has been quite positive and I can see why. A new sneak peek has been released of the movie. If the comedy in the scene is any indication, this is going to be a fun film. In the clip, a young Billy Batson (Asher Angel) has transformed into Shazam, for what we assume is the first time, and convinces his foster brother, Freddy (Jack Dylan Grazer) to help him discover what superpowers he now possesses.
I can’t wait to see this film on the big screen and I hope it continues the success DC has been having lately with Wonder Woman and Aquaman.
Shazam! hits theaters April 5 and stars Zachary Levi, Mark Strong, and Asher Angel. What are your thoughts? Are you excited to see it?
