New Early Man Trailer

I’m a huge fan of Nick Park, the creator of Wallace and Gromit and Chicken Run, and I’m excited to see more of his distinct stop-motion animation. It’s an animation style that is even more unique in the era of computer-generated films. This is the latest international trailer for his next film Early Man and it looks like fans of his work won’t be disappointed.

The film follows caveman Dug (Eddie Redmayne) as he stumbles into an advanced Bronze Age city that threatens to destroy his tribe which lives in a peaceful valley which is invaded by Lord Nooth (Tom Hiddleston). Dug teams up with his sheep sidekick Hognob and Bronze Age city resident Goona (Maisie Williams) to defend his tribe. It’s not a historically accurate film, with soccer fields replacing gladiator fights – more suitable for families you know. There are some great gags here, and I can’t wait to see it.

Early Man is set to hit theaters on January 26, 2018.
