New Photo of Supreme Leader Snoke Revealed – Spoilers

Last week, Topps released a checklist of cards for the upcoming set celebrating The Last Jedi. While that may sound benign, the list basically appears to serve as a plot summary for the entire film. Topps has come out and said that that their Star Wars: The Last Jedi cards are not in chronological order; however, some would say that the information contained therein could be perceived to give quite a bit about the story away.

Beyond here lie spoilers, so only continue reading if you’re interested…

While potentially releasing a summary of the plot for one of the most highly anticipated movies of the year may seem bad to those who are trying their best to avoid spoilers, Topps Star Wars Card Trader decided to top itself (no pun intended) and release a digital card featuring Supreme Leader Snoke in the flesh, giving us our first real look at the character that isn’t a hologram or in toy form.

Again, some may not see this as a big deal, but considering how many people have questions about Snoke, and how tightly information regarding the entire movie is being guarded, it’s somewhat surprising to see an image that is this clear of a non-hologram, non-toy version of the character being released. What are your thoughts?

Star Wars: The Last Jedi hits theaters December 15, 2017.
