The Motorola razr is Back

For those of you wishing that it was 2004 again, Motorola has unveiled a reinvented razr. The impossibly thin flip phone that went on to become the best selling phone of all time (before the iPhone came along) is back with a few new tricks up its sleeve.
While the 2019 version of the razr may look pretty similar to the original, the T9 keyboard and the small LCD screen have been replaced with a 6.2-inch foldable plastic OLED panel. When the primary display is folded, there is a 2.7-inch OLED screen on the outside that gives quick access to some of the phone’s features such as the camera.

If the new razr’s display and form factor have you excited, looking at the specs might make you want to hold off on purchasing one because they’re honestly not that awesome. The phone comes with Android 9 (even though Android 10 is available), a (mid-range) Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor, 128 GB of storage, and a (puny) 2510-milliampere hour battery.
Owning this piece of nostalgia will set you back about $1,500. The new razr is a Verizon exclusive that you can preorder starting December 26. If you want to wait a bit, you can pick one up in stores and online when it launches on January 9.
