Apparently, our panelists were never taught that you’re not supposed to talk about religion in public, because that’s what this entire episode is about. I think it’s okay in this case though because they’re specifically discussing religion as it pertains to Star Wars.
Anyone who has seen the Star Wars films has probably noticed that there are some definite religious undertones. Heck, even Han Solo referred to the Force as a “hokey religion.” And who can forget Admiral Motti calling out Darth Vader’s “sad devotion to that ancient religion?” We’ve even seen different religions most recently in The Mandalorian. Whether you like it or not, religion, spirituality, whatever you want to call it, permeates the Star Wars Galaxy.
