Heraclitus, the pre-Socratic Greek philosopher said the only constant in life is change. This is true even at the Happiest Place on Earth where Bob Iger, CEO of The Walt Disney Company recently announced that he will be immediately stepping down from a role he has held for 20 years. When asked about his decision, he said: “I don’t want to run the company anymore.” I guess that’s that.
Iger will be succeeded as CEO by Bob Chapek, who was most recently chairman of Disney parks.
